Community & Safety Guidelines

Wdee works when we respect and look out for each other. These guidelines set out what we expect from riders, senders, and captains, and the safety tools we give you.

1. Respect first

Treat everyone with respect — no harassment, discrimination, violence, or abusive language. Wdee is for everyone, and hostile behaviour can suspend an account.

2. For riders and senders

  • Confirm you got in the right vehicle (match the captain and plate, and use the PIN).
  • Describe your shipment honestly and stick to permitted items.
  • Look after the vehicle and respect the captain and their time.
  • Share your trip with trusted contacts if you want extra peace of mind.

3. For captains

  • Keep your verification and vehicle documents valid.
  • Drive safely and follow traffic laws.
  • Handle riders and shipments with care and respect.
  • Do not accept prohibited or hazardous cargo.

4. Wdee’s safety tools

  • PIN verification: the captain must enter it before the trip starts — it guarantees the right vehicle.
  • Trip sharing: send your live route to family.
  • Live tracking: every metre tracked on the map from pickup to drop-off.
  • SOS button: one tap alerts your trusted contacts with your location.
  • Trusted contacts: choose who gets notified the moment something feels off.

5. Emergencies

If you are in immediate danger, call the police or ambulance first, then use the SOS button in the app and notify the Wdee team. Your safety matters more than any trip.

6. Reporting and action

Report any unsafe or violating behaviour through support. We review every report and may take action including a warning, suspension, or account closure, and we cooperate with the relevant authorities where needed.

To report a safety issue: use the SOS button in the app, the support button, or email legal@wdeesudan.com.
